Working for a small company on a steep growth trajectory brings many benefits…

Accelerated, personal and professional progression, exposure to the inner workings of a business, close relationships with (big, blue chip) clients to name a few.

I am looking for a business development manager for a digital product design agency. They are award winning and widely regarded as being outstanding in their field. They create incredible digital products for business and brands you will have heard of. They punch massively above their weight and work with clients some of their larger competitors could only dream of.

We all know that modern sales is no longer making 500 sales call a day until someone mercifully gives up and books a meeting. You will be someone who knows how to utilise their own personal brand to create intrigue and speak with authority on digital products.

This of course doesn’t mean that you never pick up the phone – you just need to know the right time to call the right person. You’ll have learned this balance from the time you’ve spent working in a sales role that involves plenty of marketing.

You will be targeting CTO’s, marketing directors and sometimes c-suite level people in businesses who typically have head counts over 5000. You will need to be someone who is comfortable operating at this level and can demonstrate the ability to segment a market and target the right decision makers.

They’ve got an incredible back catalogue of work that you can draw from and create incredible, eye-catching campaigns with. They’ve won major industry design awards (yep, the ones you don’t have to pay to enter) and can boast case studies with some of the leading UK tech and consumer brands.

In terms of work set up, that is down to you, they have a beautiful office space in West Oxfordshire, but you will likely be someone who likes being in front of clients, making things happen – so your location isn’t overly important. They’d be happy to fund a WeWork in central London if this was where you would optimally work from!

From a salary perspective you are looking at £40,000 to £50,000 DOE, you will also be able to earn commission on the sales you make, meaning you can earn very well! They want someone who will grow with the business and who can be a future ‘head of’ or ‘director’ – for the right person the possibilities are endless.

If you are interested or want to know more, send me a message, DM, call me – whatever is easiest. Having an up-to-date CV to hand is ideal, but if you haven’t got one immediately, we can still chat through the position and you can learn more

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail, if you feel necessary.

Upload your CV/resume or any other relevant file. Max. file size: 39 MB.
