YOU Exclusive

As someone who is a huge fan of in person experiences, I have huge respect for the people who produce and curate these experiences, so I am delighted to be working with a leading full services production company on a Technical Project Manager position.

They are Leeds-based, with a sector agnostic approach to events, which can span from board meetings right up to 3000 people events. They have massively ambitious growth plans for the next couple of years, which will all be driven by the quality of the work they do.

That is where you, the Technical Project Manager comes in. On a daily basis, you will be tasked with working as a technical expert with client managers, suppliers, and partnering with strategists, creative producers etc to ensure that events go to plan.

It’s really important you have a background in event and/or exhibitions – with technical experience (think AV, screens etc). We are not looking for IT or Digital project managers – sorry. You’re likely going to know what this role entails, so don’t need a recruiter lecturing you on your day-to-day.

This role is all about using your technical knowledge and project manager skills to bring the bigger events these guys do all together, and you will be expected to get involved in pre-production, right through to post event debriefs – so being a real ‘people person’ is going to help here.

They have developed a fantastic culture, spearheaded by an inspirational MD. There’s plenty of social gatherings and events, with colleagues who are passionate about what they do!

Salary wise you are looking at between £42,000 and £46,000 depending on your experience, with a benefits package on top. They have a hybrid working approach with a lovely office based in Leeds.

We appreciate this is a tiny snapshot of what you would do, so If you are interested and want to know more, call me, send me a message (Keiran McGrath on LinkedIn), DM, or whatever is easiest.

We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable, to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there are no gender biases in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.

Upload your CV/resume or any other relevant file. Max. file size: 39 MB.
