We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Birmingham based technical production client. Project managers are the glue that bind everything they do together – an incredibly important role within the business.

They’ve been around for over 20 years now and are led by vastly experienced industry individuals, so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands that will develop your professional knowledge and progress your career.

You are going to join the business at the start of a growth period, so will have plenty of opportunity for personal progression and close contact with senior leadership teams to absorb their considerable technical knowledge of the AV world.

Essentially, your role will be to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects end to end. You will be involved from initial client enquiry, right through to delivery on site across the UK and sometimes Europe. Typically, you’re working on around 10 projects at a time, ranging from £10k, right up to 250k in size.

We’re really looking for someone who has managed agency relationships (so gets the commercial acumen and diplomacy required) and who has a solid understanding of technical AV solutions in a corporate event/award show/hospitality setting.

I’m afraid if you have not worked event/production/AV agency side and delivered events, we cannot consider you. We are not looking for IT Project Managers, Construction Project Managers or Finance project managers – so please ensure you have read the requirements properly and can relate to the skillsets in the event industry.

They have an office/production facility, just south of Birmingham – so living within a commutable distance (60 mins) makes sense. People don’t’ go into the office every day and they have adopted a sensible hybrid approach. You can reasonably expect to travel to site a few times a month, so please ensure you are able to do this.

You’ll be on £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience (we’re looking for both ends of the spectrum), with various other benefits including paid overtime and time off in lieu. etc. which we can go in to when we speak.
