Senior Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our London based full-service event production agency.
They provide creative, specialised solutions and technical equipment for a wide range of high-profile live events. These events take place in amazing venues like national museums – so the body of work is incredible!
You are going to join the business at the start of a growth period, so will have plenty of opportunity for personal progression and close contact with senior leadership teams to absorb their considerable technical knowledge of the event production world.
This is a very hands-on role and will see you getting involved from the very first enquiry, right through to on site delivery! You will be the main point of contact for the client throughout the project, so this is a role for someone who enjoys client facing relationships.
You will be someone who thrives when working under pressure, as this is a high-pressure role, especially when delivering on site – as often you are turning spaces where the general public have been minutes prior, in to amazing live events within an hour. I think this role will suit someone who will find that exciting, rather than daunting – there will be plenty of adrenaline rushes when bringing everything together in such a short time.
We appreciate that the title project manager can be quite subjective, so for the avoidance of doubt, this is what we mean and are looking for on your CV/profile:
- Proven track record within the operations side of a technical rental supplier in the live events / production industry.
- Good working knowledge of full range of current lighting, audio, video & rigging equipment and practices.
I’m afraid if you have not worked event/production/AV agency side and delivered events, we cannot consider you. We are not looking for IT Project Managers, Construction Project Managers or Finance project managers – so please ensure you have read the requirements properly and can relate to the skillsets in the live event industry before you apply.
They have an office/production facility, in south London which you will be required to attend – but as someone who gets hugely excited about lighting equipment you will love working with their start of the art equipment! You will also get to travel around the UK and Europe to deliver events (which are almost never on weekends)
You’ll be on £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience (we’re looking for both ends of the spectrum).
If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM, whatever is easiest for you. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
