I am looking for an Operational Client Director to join our fantastic partner, who provide events, production and venue expertise.

You will take ownership of a C Suite client, dealing with complex requests in relation to destination and venue research, recommendations, and proposals.

We’re looking for someone who has outstanding knowledge of 5* venues in the London area, as well internationally as well. You will be the person that people go to when they need an incredible venue for a variety of differing size events for C-suite level people.

You will report into the head of global sourcing, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience to impart on to your already impressive knowledge base. Reporting into you will be a global sourcing specialist who you will need to work very closely with – so experience line managing someone would be ideal.

We need you to be someone who can take the initiative and create opportunities, rather than passively sit by waiting for things to happen. You’ll also be a master negotiator, knowing how to get the best deals with the suppliers you work with and creating long term win-win relationships.

There is a really progressive approach to flexible working here, you’ll spend 2 or 3 days a week in the office, as well as regular client visits to London. They have an office in London and also an office in the west country, so living somewhere in the middle would make a lot of sense for your commuting needs.

From a salary perspective, it will largely depend on your experience, but you can expect it to be between £50,000 and £60,000. There are numerous other corporate benefits beyond the base salary as well!
