YOU Exclusive

I am looking for a Content Manager to join our fantastic client based in the North-West. They create events that get results for their clients. Their whole ethos is built around ‘do something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life’.

Firstly, we need to make it clear this isn’t a ‘content creation’ role. Yes, it’s brilliant you’ve got 9 million followers on Insta and KSI follows you on Tik Tok – but it’s a different skillset we’re looking for.

You will manage and deliver content projects as part of live and virtual event programmes. The budgets for these can be in excess of £200,000 with multiple media channels utilised. Working closely with the head of content you will understand client’s communication objectives for projects and translate them into great ideas.

Working with established brands, mainly from the retail sector, you will understand the importance of brand guidelines holds with your clients, and you’ll possess the diplomacy skills to get the best out of each relationship.

The projects you work on could be in the form of company conferences, award ceremonies, gala dinners, and parties. Everything you see on video, screen and print will fall under your remit – so it’s important you have performed a similar role before and understand the frenetic nature of these kind of projects in an agency.

Ideally you will be someone who has worked on corporate communications projects before, whilst working agency side at live event agency highly beneficial as well.

You’re coming into a great place. It’s a small business which has plans to grow its turnover by over a million pounds in the next 18 months. They’re committed to bringing people into the business who will enable (and hopefully accelerate) that growth. There is no micromanagement or clock watching – just seasoned industry professionals ready to impart their considerable knowledge to you.

There is a great approach to flexible working here, you will spend three days a week in the office (Monday is compulsory), with flexibility on start/finish times for you as well.

From a salary perspective, it will largely depend on your experience, but you can expect it to be between £35,000 and £40,000. There are numerous other benefits beyond the base salary as well!

If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM (Will Grashoff on LinkedIn) or e-mail – whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.

Upload your CV/resume or any other relevant file. Max. file size: 39 MB.
