We are looking for a Senior Event Executive to join a B2B business solution provider focused on creating and building Advice, Money, and Flexible Workplace solutions for their clients.

You will be working within their Event and Live Marketing team that sits within the company’s advice department reporting into the Event Manager.

You’ll be joining at a time of continuous growth year-on-year demonstrating this over the last five years and with this being an employee-owned business means that you too, can play a part in the future of this organisation!

Whether it’s a conference, summit, awards ceremony, or webinar, the content of your event should be engaging, relevant, and valuable to attendees. This could involve securing knowledgeable speakers, designing interactive sessions, and incorporating multimedia elements for either in person or virtual events.

As the Senior Event Executive, it is your responsibility to liaise across all stakeholders and internal departments to ensure each of your event is a success. You will work on programmes in both the public and private sector and demonstrate strong listening and communication skills when talking to clients, partners, attendees, sponsors not only to develop the profile of this agency but to build on the reputation of their clients’ products and services.

This will require strategic planning from start to finish including setting clear objectives, establishing timelines, allocating resources, and creating contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances all with high attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

As for international project management experience, it’s essential for handling the complexities of organizing events across different countries and cultures. This involves coordinating logistics, managing vendors and suppliers, overseeing technical aspects (for virtual events), and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day of the event as well as coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders throughout.

Depending on the projects you could have 2 months back-to-back of travel and then 3 months of planning, this really will depend on the workload across the year, but this won’t phase you, as you enjoy the planning aspect most!

This role is based in Central London (Barbican area), and you’re going to need to be able to get to the office around 2-3 times a week depending on work schedules etc.

From a package perspective, you are looking at a base salary of between £33,000 and £35,000, with 25 days holiday, your birthday off and 5 volunteering days off a year to highlight just a few of their benefits!
